Franchi 3 pattern, RR .570 w/Apex
« on: March 23, 2022, 01:09:42 AM »
Hey everyone,

New to the group so figured I would share a pattern from yesterday from my new 20 gauge.

Shooting a franchi 3 affinity 26” with a Rob Robert’s .570, shooting Apex 9s

This was at 40 yds, I didn’t shoot at 20.  What are your thoughts on the pattern?

Thanks in advance for any input

Yeah, the center red on middle circle was my POA,  I hunt out west so typically don’t have any super close shots but I would say 30-35 is the average.  Based off the 40 pattern do you think 20yds would be way too tight?

I like the pattern. If you have the means to do so, I would move it a click or maybe two to the right. But you have a killing pattern for sure.

No sir, I think you will be fine @ 20 yds. just remember to keep a good cheek weld and shoot at where the feathers stop and not at the head. Also it wouldn't hurt to move it to the right ever so slightly.
