Got my first Osceola today.  Public ground bird.
Didn't get a clear picture of the scale so I won't score it.
Weight was 14lbs. 8 Oz.
Beard 9"
Spurs 1 5/16"

First of all, congrats on your first Osceola!

FYI for everybody on the weight thing:  There is a default weight allowance of 14 pounds in the contest, so in your case, Steve, you could go ahead and post your bird (if you want to) and you will only loose 5/8 of a point in the scoring.  You would just plug 14 in as the weight.

OK this is good to know, I'm going to stick with the Fishermans De-liar scale.

and mine (if I can find any dead ones along the road) will at least weigh 14 lbs

Oh, and another thing, if anybody kills a gobbler that weighs less than fourteen pounds, don't worry about taking that weight picture, we will get more points just by going with the default poundage!      ;D :angel9: :toothy9:
