We are on the board guys! I’ll post the pics and a story as soon as I get a chance.

Nice job, was a great morning to be in the woods.

huck and I went yesterday morning to one of our spots. We ended up hearing 8 possibly 9. Gobbled good on the roost and even gobbled good till after 8am. we sat and listened to em for a while, and went to another spot and heard 2 rattle off. Our woods have been recently burned so everything is wide open.  Huck is remodeling a house right now so hasn't been on yet. tryin to get internet where he's at.

Cold and windy this weekend. Didn't hear anything. Youth season is in 2 weeks. Hope they get to talking better. Gonna take my 2 nephews the last day of youth. I'll be gone on a stinking school trip first morning.

Same here. Everyone say a prayer for these north Alabama gobblers that they hang on for dear life until this weekend. I’m taking my 8yr old son on the youth hunt. He hasn’t been in to turkey hunting like deer hunting but we are turning it into a camping trip and he’s getting excited. So I’m getting excited to!

My son and I had a great day today. We didn’t get to connect on any gobblers but we heard several gobblers and got to see some hens up close. We heard a gobbler yesterday afternoon at the truck, then last night around 7:00 while we were eating burgers, then at the truck today while eating lunch, we took off after that one until closing time  with no luck, came back to the truck and he gobbled again lol. We got to hear some other birds also. I was surprised at the amount of traffic riding around for a youth hunt. We went to one last spot and set up some chairs and played a game of battleship. While we were playing an old friend I named King Solomon last year fired off about 3:30 right where we had our last duel last year. I’ll be back this weekend to check on ole king Solomon.
