Issues with Verdict 410 Ammo?

I have a Stevens 301 410 that I like to hunt with some. I've been testing different types of ammo through it from Browning to Federal to Herters. I bought some Verdict 9.5s to try and when I put the shell in the chamber and close the action, the release stays depressed and the action breaks open on its own. I've not had this issue with any other shell. Seems their shells are longer than the others.

Anyone else had this issue?

I just recently shot one shot out of a H&R 88 Jr with no issues.
