Cracked crystal surface

I've got a pot call with a cracked crystal surface in it and was wondering if can be fixed by somehow getting the cracked surface out without screwing up the pot itself, and gluing a new surface in. Anybody done this, or am I out of luck fixing it?

 Yes it can be fixed but needs to be turned again to flatten the lip
