Gun Dilemma with Escort PS Turkey
« on: February 19, 2022, 02:38:03 PM »
Need your opinions on this gun and if you have run into this problem with a red dot. I bought the Escort PS turkey in 410, it comes with a barrel mounted rail and has the adjustable back sight which is part of the rail mount and has a high rise front fiber optic sight that is not removable. If i take the Burris FF3 and pictinny mount it to the rail barrel mount, the front high rise sight pretty much is dead center with the front high rise sight, it's like my red dot is illuminating the front fiber optic sight.. Some people call this Co - witnessing the red dot with front sight, especially with pistols and AR etc...  Is this a bad thing or should i just zero the gun with the red dot pretty much co - witnessing with the front sight or should i add another riser between the rail and the pictinny mount of the Burris FF3 .. have any of you that have this gun and have put a red dot on the gun had the same problem ?   Or did you just go with scope optic ?  Opinions please

Solved the problem, just put a small 1/2 riser on the rail.. picatinny riser mount made by UTG between the rail and the picatinny mount of the Burris FF3 . The red dot set's no higher than if i had mounted a turkey scope on the gun... happy camper now ...

Just got back from my first attempt at sighting in m new Escort PS Turkey 410. After my attempt to reload after firing 6 rounds I noticed the cocking handle was gone. I had walked to my target and back and unfortunately leaves were everywhere. Did not find it. Checked my instruction manual and it appears all the contact numbers are in Turkey. Oh well, back to Benelli 12. You do get what you pay for. The trigger is horrible.

I shot the Escort PS Turkey and it performed flawless today, trigger was great, the Burris FF3 did it's job and with the Jeb x Full shooting Federal 9 or Apex i have no complain.. It shot 1/2 inch and 3 inch shells with not problems...  I feel the gun was great purchase myself ....very happy with the gun...

I emailed them about the trigger and never heard anything back. That's the only problem I have with the gun.

The trigger on my 20 was horrible too. I sent it to Rob Robert’s and they were able to fix my trigger.
