I'm curious, how many of our team are new to this contest, as in never competed in it? I think there's some unknown qualities or minuses  here. We really don't know if us newbies are heroes or zeroes, But I got this feeling deep down in my belly that the G.O.A.T.S. will be just fine. We will just see where it all ends come June sometime.

As for me I am new and I have no idea why I was even asked....I'm definitely a zero. How are those jakes scored again? So you big time ( Tom Bradys of turkey hunting) boys be kind to us old wannabees,OK. We should be allowed just a little glory before we die old and bitter.

Okay GOATS, the team forums are up now.  Check in over there.  In the meantime, I want to congratulate my teammates on the fine job everybody has done in this thread to cement our status as the team to beat in this year's contest. 
Well, maybe not in the team score, but definitely in the smack talk department!

Played for years. The main thing is getting birds posted correctly. I think we will be fine.

I was on my way to our second team meeting of THE GOATS today,  I was practicing my calls in the truck on the way because I didn't want to be "that guy".   I really need to keep my windows rolled up while practicing.  Come to find out, other team members had the same issue.

I don't know if we want to go down that Rabbit hole. We all will probably get some thumbs downs I will just say for a fact that  what you see on the score is less than reality. May be that way for your team as well and it may be best just to leave it that way.

Turtles like rabbit holes.  I like turtles.   I know a lot of turkey hunters that like turtles.

We don't see a whole lot of turtles up here. On one of my buddy's properties, he has lots of turtles, and turkeys. Some of them are very big turkeys. I have never killed a turkey on my buddy's property. This year after I help him I just might have to. The last gobbler I killed was a big turkey for up here on the big woods public land in the mountains. Down there he would be an average turkey.

Turtles like rabbit holes.  I like turtles.   I know a lot of turkey hunters that like turtles.

Somebody say something about turtles?  Here is a sample of what happens when your kids want turtles when they are little (30+ years ago).  A couple of turtles turns into a pile of turtles pretty quickly.  Let's just say they are like rabbits in that regard.  This picture is just a few of what live in our backyard...

I never realized how red goat ugly some of our competitors are. Holy Smoke! Old RutnNStrutn could make a fright train take a dirt road. Poor old Zelmo1 is so ugly that he has to sneak up on a mirror. Yes the Old Goats are the most beautiful turkey team. Facts.
