Custom Pot Call Makers

I want to get a custom pot call turned out of a piece of wood from the property i hunt.  I have a bunch of osage trees which i think would be a good choice.  Do yall suggest any other types of wood that maybe common in Alabama?

What call makers do yall suggest that would take on a project like this?

Whoever you find to do this, it would be a couple years down the line,, you will have to wait for your lumber to dry..

It won't take years to dry, but it will take several months.  I cut a Honey Locust down on my farm this spring.  Took it to a local saw mill and had it slabbed to 1.750.  Left the bark on.  I then stacked it with spacers for air flow in my garage, and set a floor fan on high in front of it.  I've already made several pots out of it.  So if your patient, and have room where it's out of the elements, it does air dry fairly quickly.
