Greenleaf Sling
« on: January 09, 2022, 01:12:20 PM »
Hey guys my brother-in-law gave me this sling and I’d love to use it but it’s to short. I can’t seem to figure out how to get more adjustment out of it. I know it’s tough to tell anything from pictures but any ideas?
Sorry I’ll have to post multiple times to show multiple pictures.

Thought I would take a shot at helping you out here.  Is there a reason why the lower part of the strap (as shown in the third picture with the side view of the connecting bracket) must loop through the bracket?  It looks to me like you could lengthen the strap by simply taking the two connecting screws out of that lower part of the strap, take the loop out of the bracket above it, and reinstalling the screws without going through the loop.  I may be missing something (hard to tell from the pictures), but I don't see why that wouldn't lengthen the strap quite a bit.  ...May be worth a shot if you haven't already figured something out.... :)

Thanks for responding! That exactly what I did. Worked perfectly. Great minds think alike.

:TooFunny:  Based on my track record around these parts, I suspect there could be considerable debate about the "great mind" on this side of the equation.   ;D :) ;)
...Glad you found a solution to your dilemma...would have been too bad to have not been able not to use that sling.   :icon_thumright:
