My pick, Cody Spec 1 Slate. Started out as a production call numbered, became so popular, they began to get hard to get. Still are…..one of my go-to’s.
Your absolutely right.. Cody spec1 for me also.. I still carry mine just something about the call the gobblers like. I’ll always carry mine it’s one of my go to calls don’t know how many times that call worked when nothing else would.

These were my first 3 production calls, the Mad Super Crystal is by far my favorite and it was also my first. I picked up the Quaker Boy Tryfecta at the NY state NWTF meeting back in 98 The Slate is also a Quaker Boy. Those were all the calls I had when I first got here other than a Wingbone that I also got at the NWTF even as well as a scratchbox that I no longer have the striker for, now I have around 100 calls I would guess.

Thunderdome slate , it's one of the first ones without marking on the can .. still have the original carbon striker ...
