Starburst with red dot

I have an at3 reflex sight on my stevens 301 and really like it. I wanted to mount on a different gun so I bought the meadow creek mount and put it on other gun. When I turn it on now it looks like a big starburst. Anyone else had any issue with this?

Some red dots I look thru look normal some I see star burst. Why I have no idea, angle or distance maybe? Not familiar enough with them but curious also.

I noticed if the brightness is too bright on mine it has a starburst. Trying lowering the brightness and see what happens.

Yeah I lowered it all the way down and it did get better but was still there. I'm gonna try taking it off the gun and moving it back toward me to see if it changes

Put it on the receiver and you will fix the problem

Smaller the MOA and moving it back will help.. Also changing to green circle dot will help also..
