Spent some time yesterday messing around in the garage. I've had a few NWTF NY State turkey leg bands sitting around for a few years now. I had always planned on trying to use them on my strikers some how but with the size never could figure out how I would do that as they would add to much weight to a striker. Finally came up with a way to use one and it sounds great on this slate made by my friend Jessie Newsom. Also added a pewter strutting turkey pin to the top.  Striker top is burmese blackwood with black acrylic pegs. Thanx for the look.
