I own several custom boxes , but my all time best sounding box caller was a primos box cutter my mom gave me for bday gift years ago . I yelped up a pile of gobblers with that thing !  It just had a great ring to it . Sadly , my house flooded in 2016 , and I lost that call . I have bought several of the newer primos box cutters since the flood  , they sound decent , but not even close to my old one !

I have a Box Cutter and a nice custom and the Primos Box Cutter sounds just as good if not better. Called in a lot of birds with this thing.

Hmm.  I've got a box cutter. It sits in my truck and the kids play with it.   Might need to swap it out.  Its not my favorite call.

Anyone use a primos wet box waterproof box call? I picked one up the other day at a flea market and have no idea if it's any good or not. It's still in the package but is a nice looking call. It appears to be finished very well. I also have an older primos box call I can't remember the name of it. It's green laminated wood and is very high pitched. It's a good call to cut the wind and strike a bird but I never try to use it to finish them. Always switch to a glass and diaphragm to close the deal.

I have a Box Cutter and Lil' Heartbreaker.  They both sound good.  I have a wide variety of factory box calls by a number of different company's and these are two of the best sounding.  The Quaker Boy 10 Sider is another.

The Box Cutter was my favorite for years. Then, I lost it somehow. A member here found one for me and shipped it to me last year or the year before. Needless to say, it’s in my vest. They sound amazing. Would love to find a Heart Breaker that people weren’t asking a mint for but those days are well in the past.
