Hey guys what do yall know about Darryel helms boxes? I picked one up on ebay a mac ebony/ spalted maple. Looks like a pretty box but was wondering if any of yall had any experience with em. Thanks fellers good luck this spring!

I had one a good couple of years ago. He builds a good looking call. The sound was there but just ok. At the time he was new at building calls. Let us know what you think when you get it.

Update: he does build a fine looking call,  but I think it may need a little tuning up. It reminds me of an old lynch box i got from my dad one side def runs better than the other,  but all in all not bad for the price.
