Retay 20 gauge, what chokes and ammo work best

Need help on finding a choke and ammo load that work best in a Retay 20 gauge (new gun) !

I went with a Sumtoy .570 and Apex 9's..   Had the choke in less than a week from William.  Good luck finding just about any shells....

Jebs 560 apex #9

Jebs was out of 560, so they sent a 555.  Shot it with Federal Custom Shop 10's .  At 35 yds it was good, but not impressed at 45.  Jebs said I can send it back for a 560 .  May try that with Apex.

Apex had 20 gauge #8s and Ninja 8.5s in stock as of 4:30PM today...no 9s.

I was able to order 9s last night a little after 9pm eastern. Looks like they are still in stock as of right now.

I have been waiting almost a full month on my order,ordered about 250.00 dollars worth of ammo around March 14 and still haven't received it....I called them and they said their website had been outselling what they have and they have been out of 9  for over two weeks.....I hope I get them soonseason starts 17th and can't find ammo nowhere for a new gun I have,may have to take my old one...it I was in real need of shells I don't know if I would trust that ammo being In stock at apex...you may end being like me and still waiting for almost a month.

That sucks. I just got the email saying my 20 gauge #9s are shipping. Ordered last night.

I just ordered the same ammo as Matt from Apex. Shows the 20ga 3" 1 5/8oz #9 in stock.

I've been stocking up for a gun I don't even have yet so I can pattern it when it arrives. I ordered an M2 20ga 24" in black in January. I don't think it will arrive in time to get it drilled/tapped for the Burris FF3 and patterned. Our season starts May 1.

Mine starts next weekend still haven't heard from apex....guess I'm going to try to get my money back,I did order some 12 guage too,don't know if that's the hold up now or what.

I wouldn't think so. Anything that was in stock on their site that I ordered has arrived within 5+/- days of ordering, 12 or 20. I would be getting them on the phone.
