Newbie to oldgobbler in Alabama
« on: March 06, 2021, 05:26:33 AM »
New member to the oldgobbler but longtime turkey hunter in NW Alabama. Not a lurker or scammer but mostly an info seeker. I currently shoot a Benelli  SBE 1 and have killed all my turkeys out to 52 steps with the factory full choke but looking to experiment on extended choke tube. I would gladly be interested in choke/ammo recipes to help throw a more dense longer range pattern. Looking for some good used chokes to base my pattern test with in my SBE with mobil thread pattern without going out and spending $500+ on new chokes that wont pass the test. Thank you in advance for letting me be a part of a seemingly great site. Also interested in info on choke tube threads that fit a Newer(2007) Lipseys limited edition Ruger Red label all weather camo dipped O/U.
