Mine changes year to year but as of late it’s been this Trotter switchback.

I’ve got a lot of high end and custom calls but the one that never leaves my vest is my Enticer Next Generation Glass call. The birds absolutely love it and with the baffle on the back, you can close off holes in the pot and make a range of different tones and pitches. 100% waterproof, plays wet, and can call on the Corian pot also. A couple flocks of turkeys in that one 60$ call.

This is a great subject to kick around. My favorite has been the Ol Yeller in a walnut pot. I have killed well past 25 birds with it. Very consistent as long as the operator is consistent. It is so soft and subtle for tree yelps and light puts at first light, and super clear with a good rollover later in the day. Bought a Red Slate from Preacherman last year that may outshine it. We'll see ......

My favorite is a Lonzo Goncalo Alves glass over glass call that I got from him in 2017.  It once slipped out of my lap and rolled 50 feet down a slope as I was working a bird.  I had to get a garden rake and scour the bottom of that drain to find it.  It just kept on rolling!  Luckily I found it and it has kept its position as my ‘closer’.

This year I relied heavily on my Houndstooth batwing mouth call and a DH box call.

Ive only owned about 10 calls. Mostly pots and a couple boxes over the past 8 years. But I recently stepped my call game up and picked up a Fiddle Box from Marlin Watkins. It's Butternut with a Bloodwood paddle. Got it last week, killed my first (with this call) gobbler with it yesterday. It plays so easily. I mean boxes do anyway but alot of them are not forgiving but this thing just unlocks easy mode.

I don't have a pic of them currently, but my absolute favorite is a Blodgett slate pot call I got from Harry in 2003. That along with a Walnut over Sumac box I made years ago. Those 2 calls never leave my turkey vest.
