First beard & spur mount finished
« on: February 01, 2021, 04:19:21 PM »
After spending most of the year waiting on a trip to town for borax, I finally got the beard of last spring's longbeard dried and hot glued. Spurs were only 3/4 inch but the beard measured 9 7/8 to the longest fibre. Should be joined by a couple more on the wall this spring!

Nice.  I display my beards on a similar leather lanyard, but I make a necklace out of the spurs.  I have tail fans mounted in various places and leave the beard and spurs with the tail fans.  I like the hot glue idea and will clean some of mine up.  That looks nice.

That is nice and I have a ton of eastern cedar drying in a pile just looking for a project!
