This is where I finally settled my load workups with TSS in the muzzleloaders.
These are for the TK2000 and the Encore. What ever you do make sure you use the correct bore protecting shot cups. I had initially posted the 70gr 777 load but the velocities were just too slow to be great killers. When I finally ran them over the chronograph the TK2000 was only running about 800fps with the 70grs. I went back to the drawing board and worked up to 100grs. Slightly more open pattern but good enough for 50 yards and enough power for clean kills if you chose to shoot that far.

Load for Encore and TK2000 12gauge muzzle loaders
Velocity from Encore:   1117 feet per second
Velocity from TK2000   1060 feet per second

100 grains 777 powder
BPGS gas seal was seated on top of the powder.
TUWSBL28/CSD 100 WAD CUP was slit 4 times down to 1/4" above the floor of the cup.
20 grains of poly buffer.
2oz #8 TSS shot
1/8" felt over shot card

Notes:
1. The wad cup was coated with bore butter before seating on gas seal.
2.The shot-buffer mix was placed in the wad cup and pushed down the barrel so that the mix stayed intact.
3. After seating the felt over shot card the bore was swabbed with 777 bore butter. It made it easier to clean and it added around 40fps to the velocity.

40 yard pattern with encore. the sights were adjusted to center pattern after shooting

Thanks for posting this.  You da man!

How was the opposite of the boom end?  I know you won't notice when there is a gobbler in front of you.  Just curious how the kick is on the TK.

Recoil is stiff. It really doesn't bother me though. I shoot .458, .416 Taylor and .416 Rigby rifles for fun.

Reflexl, have you noticed any streaking from the hard shot on the choke tube of the tk 2000. I have been getting a little bit of streaking from a 1 3/4 load of tss #9 in a lbc30 shot cup loaded very similar to the way you are loading. Barrel is fine its just the choke.

Hasn't affected my patterns yet and os very minor.
