Thought I'd share an interesting book with y'all. My wife picked this up for me. It is a detailed journal account of a turkey hunt in Indian Territory from 1878. Included is a rare fold out map showing military outposts and parts of Texas and Oklahoma. We are world's apart now from how they hunted back then.

I will definitely be looking for this one.
There's a book listed below, Yelp, Gobble Inc. It's very good and I highly recommend it. Written by Brent Rogers. Check it out!!!

Definitely a good read for anyone that is interested in history as well as turkey hunting. Seems to be missing from a lot of collections. Possibly due to not sharing the popularity of more current/relavent turkey hunting literature, but I enjoyed it and would recommend it as well.
