Title: Observations on rib mount scope utilizing Meadow Creek Mounts
Post by: decoykrvr on June 30, 2020, 11:33:10 AM
I have long been a fan of the "Scout concept for mounting optics on rifles/shotguns" and have a 3x pistol scope mounted on the barrel of an Ithaca Mod. 37 which has been deadly on deer standing and running w/ sabot slugs.  Any observations from turkey hunters on utilizing rib mounted red dot sights would be appreciated.  I've read comments by several folks who indicated that they actually had faster target acquisition w/ a rib mounted sight, but wonder if it would require a comb raising kit for proper eye alignment w/ the red dot.

I did not have to modify anything after mounting the Meadow creek mount and venom red dot.
