Some of these call builders only build 3 - 5 different combo's , it's best to talk with him and see what he recommends for the sound your looking for ...
Talked to him and left it up to him. Said would either be butternut or mahogony
Hope you get one you would really like it if you a long box man ! I have a Mineral poplar , Mahogany , Butternut and a Walnut ( ive been on his list over 8 years for a walnut built specifically for me !! ) 2 were 2nd hand , all other woods except walnut are duplicates as I won't let one sit around that sells for a very reasonable price . they only appreciate in value in todays world !
I have never had a long box before so I'm pretty excited. Only short boxes so far but I am on his list for a short and long box now.
