If I was going to buy one I would get it from Mr. Billy Buice.

Billy Buice or Frank Cox. Two of the best. Billy may have a few on hand Frank you'll get on his list. Worth it though.

The lanyard was made to my specification to hold a call that doesn't have a lanyard notch. It was made by John at Leather Braiding by John. Great guy to deal with. The call was made by Mr Billy as a matched set from live oak I provided. This live oak was cut as refitting material for the USS Constitution ("Old Ironsides") class warships as provided by the Continental Congress. It lay buried in the Boston Navy yard forgotten until recently. Stores were placed at Boston, Norfolk and I believe Savannah for refitting these ships

My other tree yelpers are Dogwood, Osage and Mesquite. They are beautiful and have contributed to the deaths of many birds.

Having never played a tree yelper. Whats the difference/sound than a regular yelper? Neat looking little calls

You can play them softer, and they have a hollower sound like a bird on the roost.

X3. I ran Clay's tree yelper at Unicoi and I'd put it with the best I ever ran. Sounded like water drops in a rain barrel and very easily run.

ShagHill is the name of Clay's calls and he is a great guy to deal with. All of their calls are great sounding

Lee Bowles makes a sweet little cane tree yelper that is hard to beat.
