Okay got home , and properly measured out the count its actually 240 ! at 40yds. out of my 23inch sp10 , federal 2oz 1300 fps #7 , phenomenal tight pattern, there was a slight side breeze , first and only test shot , I'm sure if I kept on going I could get a higher score

...pick yourself up some fed#7 for CHEAP before it's gone forever
William made some of these many years ago but had lost the data to make one in a hardware crash and was unable to make one ...I sent him my barrel and he redid the program to make some more ....get on this while you can , best shooting 10 ga choke I've ever seen ,he is a amazing gunsmith and choke builder ...the choke measures in at .685 with straight lands and wad stops on the internals.
Thanks for looking
Shannon
I just bought a real nice Bottomland SP-10. Do you remember what constriction it is?
I also have 10 or so box's of fed hvy#7's. ;D

I'll let you know in the morning on the dia.
I will say this it's a MEASURED 40 yds....its a hell of a good choke , I'll take some pics of the choke too
looks great! Really trying to resist the temptation of picking up a 24" barrel and hunting the bps again! It has been a fantastic goose getter for me, but starting to get the itch to revisit turkey hunting with it. Thanks for posting this up, looking forward to some more photos!
I thought lead 7s at 1200ft/sec at 40 yards wouldn't break wing/leg bones? I always heard #5s at 1200 was the minimum?
Could've wrong heard it online....I'd use 7s in TSS for sure.
Is that #7 HeviShot?
Good stuff I have 2 sp-10s glad to know Sumtoy is tooled up.
It's the Federal #7 HEAVYWEIGHT its 2oz....1300 fps , hits like a ton of bricks , call william up get yourself one
:turkey2:
Thanks for the good info.

This morning ....
Congrats..Im counting the days down. :icon_thumright:
I had William make me a choke just like that for my H&R 10 ga after I got it threaded. My choke is much longer than that though. It started out at .685 but I sent it back to him to bore out to .700. Kills every thing I shoot it at.

Your choke did not go in the barrel as much as Old Gobblers does.
Congrats on the bird! I am sure those 7s rocked his world
Almost as many hits as the .410 crowd is claiming :boon:
Is Sumtoy selling an SP-10 choke now?
I just patterned a sumtoy .700 in my sp10 with Nitros 7.5/9 it was just ok.Need to resize pictures.
I just ordered a choke for this and my 410 from SumToy. Bubba
That'll make em live hard. Love my Sp-10
