Title: Going anywhere?
Post by: dirt road ninja on February 12, 2020, 01:43:25 PM
Where ya'll heading this Spring?

I definitely plan on making my now annual run up to SC and hunt with Don along with KS and MO on the same trip. Also might make it back to AL this year and TX if I'm lucky. Other than that I'll be hunting the ever dwindling supply of birds in SW MS. I did go deer hunt in Al this year and saw a few birds in a short period of time on ground no one turkey hunts, if they give me an invite I'll drop what i'm doing and go.

I’m not going anywhere. Where I live NY is 100 yards away now but I always hunt there n NJ. Still have too many bills from being sick. I’d like to go for Merriams,  I’ve heard they’re easy but great looking birds imo.
Maybe next year

Been talking to Don about a mountain Merriam hunt. We may try in 2021, if all works out.

Thought about an eastern TN trip. Not looking like my son will be able to take off work so it’s likely not gonna happen this year. So I’ll just hunt my normal spots in MO, hope there’s a few more birds than last year.

Just my home state of NY and I'll hit Pennsylvania. Maybe Vermont if I tag out early enough.

SC and planning on Kansas.  While in Kansas we hope to hit Nebraska a couple days.  Should be a good time.  Look forward to Russell coming as we always have a good time hunting together and usually have pretty good success.
