Recently received a copper pot off of Mr. Yingling on the 2nd of January and all I can say is pure turkey. With it being my first copper pot I was a little worried I would have some issues running it judging from what I have read about copper being finicky. But with the striker he sent and the quality of the pot I had no issues. Glad I finally broke down and bought one off of him and can't wait to get in the woods with it in a couple months. Also he is a great guy to deal with.
Congratulations on a fine call
Nothing better than one of Mikes copper calls !

Not surprised! Mike makes a quality call. Just from my perspective, but conditioning the copper and striker frequently seems to help with its consistentcy.
Thanks great hear u like it hope u get put couple long beards down with it If your still up in stand good luck with the deer also :icon_thumright:
His calls both look and sound great.
Congrats on your new pot call.. I'm going to have to talk with him about getting one of his copper pots ...

His fiber rod and black locust. Mikes strikers are almost exclusively all I grab these days. His calls. His strikers. Don't get me wrong. I've got a collection of fine strikers and calls. But, I reach for his stuff first. I tend to get loyal to a brand. His calls seem to work very well on our birds here. I've got no reason to use anything else anymore. It's actually got me considering selling my other stuff off to someone that'll actually use them. I've just kept them as "investment" pieces honestly.
