I seen a hen the other day with 9..but what's scarry I seen 5 hens and a strutting gobbler and 2 Jakes last week so I think our floods that we've been having lately has wrecked alot of nest..

Here at home we have two hens with 7 poults between them. We also have 11 hens with no poults. The 11 hens are mostly flocked up and sometimes flocked up with the toms and jakes. I have heard of other folks seeing some hens with poults. I'm always amazed at how any poults survive to adulthood. There are so many predators for them to avoid and the weather pattern the past two years has been terrible around here. Hopefully they start showing up more and more around the area.

Was surprised to see four Toms hanging around two hens just outside Eagan, MN - no poults in sight - these we city birds if that matters?

I saw about a dozen or more of what I am sure are this Springs hatch. The birds were about 2/3rds  the size of two large hens. That is my first sighting this year of young birds in Northern California

Saw three or four more this morning, the young ones looked like two hatches, couple about the size of a pheasant and the others about half that size.

Rained the last two days so I took a drive to see if turkeys were out in the open. Saw two gobblers in the middle of a hay field all fuzzed up looking sullen. Then caught a bunch coming out of a standing corn field. Looked like two hens with about 5-6 jenny's apiece. Didn't see one jake with them, looks like they've already been run off.

I saw two hens with a pile of poult's in eastern New Mexico the other day, way out in the prairie, didn't even really consider it a place that would hold birds.

Had not seen any in the midwest at all.

Seeing few poults this summer in North East Ohio. Have seen 2 small separate flocks in last week or so and each one featured several hens with 1 poult in the groups. This springs rains were record setting here. Doesn't look real promising of a hatch from my few observations.

Had two adult hens with 18 poults behind the house several days over the past month.  They come in and clean up the corn the deer missed.  Happy to see so many survivors this far along.

River around here was way above flood stage for over 150 days. Wreaked havoc on hens being able to nest successfuly.
