Title: Haint Gobble Call
Post by: idgobble on May 27, 2019, 10:06:07 PM
I have an old Red Wolfe gobble call but have heard good things about the Haint. What's your opinion of it?  Plastic or wood?

Personally, I have no experience with the Haint, but the Red Wolfe Gobble would be hard to beat IMO. Unfortunately the R.W.G. is no longer made and it might be hard to find a replacement reed if ever needed. You might be able to DIY in a pinch.

I love my haint. It took some getting used to, but once you figure out how to use its awesome

The haint is awesome. But I know a lot of ppl have a hard time with them. Once you figure it out it's easy and probably the best in my opinion. U tube is a good place to start on learning how to master it.

I prefer a wood call. Just seem to get better sound from it.
