Title: Saddest Day of the Year
Post by: Remturkey on May 23, 2019, 10:37:06 AM
Last day of Maryland's turkey season, the saddest day of the year for me. How does 5 weeks go by that quick. Had another good year though. Got nice longbeards in MD and PA. Called several in for friends but without a doubt the highlight was my 9 year old son getting a hammer of a bird on youth day afternoon.

Ended my season yesterday on a new piece of property that I never stepped foot on before. Had two hammering from daylight till 8:00. Must have gobbled 100 times. Had them close twice but too thick. Decided to end my season on that note.

Let the countdown to Opening Day 2020 begin!!!
