That's sweet! I'm building the same setup as we speak. Gun is being drilled and tapped and choke is in the mail. Hopefully mine patterns that well. Is your barrel "deep cleaned"?

That lil hammer load will do it consistently!

No Sir, that barrel was like a mirror bone stock, so I just cleaned it and started patterning.  Great combo and I've killed piles of birds with it.

Oh yeah, still one of my favorite loads I've developed.

That is impressive with the stock choke.

Aren't these chokes rated for lead only?  Has anyone had issue running TSS through them?

Remington used to claim years ago that they only put "lead only" on those chokes to keep people from shooting large unbuffered steel shot through them as it doesn't flow well. Buffered turkey loads in well protected wads flows much easier and is fine. I've shot plenty of Hevi, 15g, and 19g shot through RSFs in 12 and 20 with no scratches or swelling at all.

Very nice patter. Remingtons seem to be really consistent with .570-.575 chokes. Every 20 I have shot seems to like the Sumtoy .562-5 also. Would probably save people a lot of money if they would just start with that choke because if you don't like it William will swap or you can sell it for close to what you paid for it.

The only issue I have with the ST .562 is it is usually too hot of a core with a poor 10-20.  That doesn't apply to all of course, but more times than not. The IC 555 is the same in that regard. It all depends what you want.  I personally want to see 300+ in the 10 and over 200 in the 10-20 with a 1-5/8oz load and 220+ is even better. 300/230 is a perfect hunting load for near and far, but if a man never plans to shoot past 60yds, 250/250 is hard to beat.  Cheap chokes shoot fantastic with this stuff.

This year the Lil Hammer has accounted for 9 gobbler kills for me and a friend.  Out of an Invector Plus barrel on a Winchester Longbeard SXP and a Carlson .585 I get around 280/280 at 40 yards, which for me is perfect and gives additional killing leverage on non-stationary gobblers.

That's what I am hunting with now. Bone stock 21" Rem 870/Real Tree Hardwoods with Rem Super Full .572. Was shooting great patterns with Fed HW7's and killing turkey to 40yds. This Fed TSS load is something serious.

It's a 3", but I have many 2-3/4" loads.
