Which Rem-Choke threaded choke are you guys having good results with from a 2 3/4" chambered Remington, 26" barrel?
Tried a Straight rifled super full and it was okay, may not have been bad for what a 2 3/4" she'll will do but wanting to compare.
I killed my first turkey with an 1100, extra full turkey choke .690, 2 3/4", 1 1/2 oz of #5's. I had reloaded these shells for ducks, when lead was allowed. I set that gun up for 30 yards and in. The bird was at 29 yards. With what I know now, I would go with a .665 choke. I would probably shoot an Indian Creek, Sumtoy or SSX .665. The .665 would push my effective range out to 40 yards with the 2 3/4" shells.
Depends on the shell? I have good results with the federal 1 1/2 oz with the flight control wad and a fixed .690-.700 browning. Also my 870 dose good with a .665 IC or a old star dot. I think it measures.668?

Shells on hand are Winchester 1 5/8 oz. and a few 1 1/2 oz. I did used to have a Star Dot that shot 1 7/8 oz. #4s awesome.
Wish I could find some #6 Federal with FC wad to try in my fixed full 30" barrel.
Those stardots are awesome in whatever gun you put them in. Try to find something in the .665 range and you should have a killer out to 40.

I think I would pick up a Carlson long beard choke in .660. I bet it would shoot those 2 3/4" well. Plus you can get them pretty cheap compared to most chokes.
665 will do good as all around choke
