Post by: pahunter3 on April 18, 2019, 11:39:30 AM
Looking for a Longbeard XR choke for a Mossberg 835. Would consider other similar chokes as well.

Thanks guys!

That Indian Creek is a great choke in that gun. I run it or a Jebs Headhunter .660. The Jebs throws a 3" Long Beard #5 pattern about 185+ at 40 and the Indian Creek about 180. Both are even and consistent. The .665 Jebs is almost pellet for pellet with the Indian Creek in my gun with the 24" barrel. The Indian Creek is about dead even with the .660 Jebs in my 935 with a 22" barrel.

Thanks for the info on the patterns. I'll have to think about the Indian Creek, it's more then I was looking to spend but if it throws a pattern that well it's definitely something to consider.
