I just received this persimmon / ebony laminate green slate and a ambrosia maple red slate from Nathan Taylor these calls are awesome!
The workmanship is top shelf as well the finish on the pots, up there with the best I have and more importantly in the sound department they have a killer rollover and tone and the growl on the back end of the red slate is mean and unique.
I will be hunting both of these pots these spring.
Nathan definitely is going to go places in the call making world he has a lot of talent to say the least.

Both calls look awesome. Would really like to hear a sound file on them.

I just recently got a Mac. Ebony/ persimmon crystal that sounds great. Its also extremely good looking. Hes a very good guy to deal with also and will make sure your pot sounds perfect before he sends it out. For example when he was matching a striker to mine he told me the sound seemed like it could be better and was a little off. He took it apart and checked all measurements and made an adjustment before he would send it to me. Alot of guys would have just shipped it.

Talking with Nathan on the phone I could see him doing that he is a super nice guy that has a lot of pride build in his calls
