Heard a lot of good things about his plastic pots so i ordered a few. Just received the anodized aluminum pot and crystal pot. Works of art they are not but man do they sound good. Great rollover on the yelps and nice pop on the cluck.
If looking for a great sounding hunting call at a reasonable price it would be tough to top these.

I had the raw plastic aluminum and it was probably the best sounding aluminum I ever had but I had to give it up in a trade to get a stumpy ceramic,,but the stumpy is the best pot I own now.
I will definitely get another Dawkins plastic aluminium.

They are ugly as heck but the way they play more than makes up for it.
I have his stoned aluminum in both plastic and wood, I like the sound of the plastic pot slightly better.
I like that pot so much I just bought a backup plastic stoned aluminum in plastic from him.

Got a plastic pot aluminum earlier this year. One of the best sounding aluminum calls I have ever heard. It is a simplistic killer no doubt! Darrin is a great guy to do business with as well.

Best 3 sounding aluminum pots i have are- (listed in order from cleanest sounding to raspiest).
Lonzo anodized in black acrylic
James Witmer anodized, not sure of wood in pot
Dawkins anodized in plastic pot.

I can't say enough good things about Darrin or his calls. Those plastic pots are pure and deadly. That stoned aluminum has called quite a few to the gun. I like his strikers too!

So did I but I got bit by the bug at the nashville convention again. Got a few on order now from Nathan Taylor, Dustin Jones and Darrin Dawkins. After that i'm going to get a box from Scott Witter when his list opens up again. Once i get all of them I'm done for awhile. Would be nice to get it down to under 10 pots and 4 boxes.

I dont know whey you would want to do that. I have to try and get to nashville one of these years.

I have a Dawkins crystal in a plastic pot and its a great call and very affordable. Along with Lonzo's acrylic stoned aluminum and a Yingling ceramic in a waterproof pot it is one of my go to rainy day calls.
