Title: David Halloran aluminum pot
Post by: bigbird on March 13, 2019, 08:58:37 PM
Anyone use one these anodized aluminum pots? I just ordered one tonight for a change in my surface selection. Glass and slate are basically all I have ever used so I thought I'd give a different surface a try. Any info about em is greatly appreciated.

I have one of David's anodized aluminum pots. It's a Birdseye maple pot. I own about 10 aluminum pots and his, to me, is the best sounding! I carry that pot with me everywhere I go. It also was the cheapest of the ten!!! Soundboard is glass.

I'm on a scratchbox and trumpet tyrate for last seasin and this one also , just expanding my knowledge of all the calls and History !

I got my aluminum pot in the mail Saturday and it sounds great. It sounds kinda like a cross between the double glass and the metal mouth.
