Title: JLH strikers
Post by: Gobbler2577 on February 22, 2019, 05:49:00 PM
My strikers came from Jeff Harrison today.   He is JLH on here.  WOW!  You fellows ought to contact him and try them.  I've never been a big striker fanatic and my opinion won't mean much, but I promise you will be very happy with whatever Jeff sends you.  And I am afraid of you don't move quickly you will be waiting behind a lengthy list of folks.

I don't post much so take my comments for what they are worth. However I have gained an immense amount of knowledge from the folks on here that share my passion for turkey hunting. This place has also cost me a ridiculous amount of money. Jlh strikers are amazing and he is a great guy to deal with

Strikers I have from Jeff so far...

2 Heavy Hickory
Yellowheart
Tulipwood
Cumaru
Katalox
Canarywood
Marblewood

Yes I have 2 heavy hickory. They're that damn good. At this point I'm pretty sure if he turned a striker out of an old 2x4 it would sound good on something.

Guys, do yourself a huge favor and order some of Jeff's strikers in the available species. Even if you need a back up to one of your favorites. It will quickly become your primary.

They are either better or WAY better than any of the top strikers out there even the tried and true big names.

He is a great guy to do business with. From getting all the details of your request correct to fabrication and all the way to packaging  (which is one of the best I have ever seen) and finally to getting your order to you in a timely manner.

I plan on ordering more in the future.   :thanks:

Well I didnt see how Jeff could improve on the first batch I got, but today I got what is the best striker I own.  You fellows ought to ask him about an orange agate striker.  Any surface literally comes to life with it.

No doubt, heavy cedar will bring everything out in that slate.

Jeff can put some Rio in his strikers if you ask him to!  The more I run his sticks the more I like them.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190401/cf0d9cb84a63939fc2c3f5a8759c0701.jpg)

A friend of mine is a pot call fanatic, has 150 plus and a couple hundred strikers, he brought a sack of strikers to camp and from looking at pics several were JLH and they were the best sounding of the bunch!
