Just wanted to ask for a pray request for my right knee, it has been very swollen, almost half again the size it normally is. I had it X-rayed and the doc said fluid and arthritis in the knee. I go back on Friday and am going to ask to have an MRI done on it because it feels like there is much more going on, it has felt like the top of the kneecap is pushing back into the muscle since early to mid Summer and is getting more painful This worries me as my right knee is my good knee and has been since my car wreck in 88 which I think may be a contributing factor, I think the right has been making up for the left so long that is is beginning to break down. Also there is pain in the right hip as well. I don't want to lose the hunting I just got back after 17 years, it may sound stupid but it hurts enough (The knee) that I worry that may happen.

Thank you. I go see my doc on Friday and am going to ask him to order a MRI for it. I was supposed to go this past Friday but had to cancel because my back and hips were acting up.

Thanks Chris. He is telling me I will eventually have to have the right knee replaced and quite possibly the left as well. We are going to wait til April and he is going to drain the knee and then inject some steroids and then give me some Prednisone to help me through turkey season.

Thanks. I wound up going to a bone specialist, same group that did both my shoulders. They took fresh X-rays and said the same as my Primary Care Physician said and 2 of the doctor added that I don't have much cartilage left behind the patella. They decided to do the injection there and now I am in physical therapy for a while.
It was kind of funny at physical therapy because the woman that did my initial intake kept saying that she could not believe how high my kneecaps were and wound up calling in the other two therapists to check out my knee and they both said the same. So PT and back to my diet, I have been fooling around to long, I was 100 lbs. thinner this time last year so now I am hoping to drop 40 by turkey season that starts May First here. I will be going on a 3-4 day fast next week going into the diet drinking nothing but green tea with ginger, Cayenne Pepper, turmeric, fresh ground black pepper, cinnamon, garlic and cumin.
Well I have some new news but figured instead of starting a new thread I would just add onto this one. After having my surgery on my left shoulder last I believe it was Jan. 28 (18) my shoulder was doing well until I was walking along and fell landing on that shoulder. Well had a bunch of junk to go through with insurance and all and just got the shoulder MRI a couple of weeks ago and found on this week that no I did not tear the stuff that had been operated on already, I tore something else. I have a full thickness tear of the supraspinatus which as I understand from him is the major muscle or tendon that bears most of the I guess weight as you would lift your are over your head from in front of you. Sorry trying to explain this the best I can. SO anyway I will have to have surgery again, I asked him if it could wait until after turkey season and he said yes but I have to really baby it.
So we will see how things go, I am going to get a gun out tomorrow and see how I do holding it up and if not well enough I will be using the tripod I bought for last year after I had surgery.
Prayers would be appreciated, I really don't want to miss another turkey season, lost one 2 years ago after I had to have the other shoulder operated on and all that after losing 17 years so I really am aggravated about it, seems like I just get something back and it could be taken away from me again.

Thanks bud, the tripod is going to be the only way I can hunt this year, the bad thing of this is it restricts me completely to the blind and I was looking forward to trying out the new turkey vest on the ground a little this year.
