I just got one of Pat's LE pot for 2018. Slate in a Mahogany/Padauk/Maple pot. She is a real beauty but like I told Pat, sounds too good not to go to the woods. Striker is a Mahogany head with a Dymondwood shaft.

Interesting design with the offset lamination......does the sound change as you play around the circumference of the surface?
