Post by: wchadw on April 30, 2018, 06:02:04 PM
Anyone out there with a300 have problems with 3 inch longbeard XR not feeding? I have started putting 2 3/4 I’m in my tube. Just curious

I called beretta and they acted like it was a common problem with the XR shells

Longbeards have a long overall length and have feeding issues in a number of guns. LBs are as good as lead gets, just follow them with a different 3 inch load and you'll be fine.

Yea. I been putting a 3 inch in the breech and 2 3/4 XRs in the tube. They feed. It’s odd because I have used other roll top 3in shells that seem to feed fine

all the a300's love the Magnum Blends that I have shot :turkey2:
I shot federal 3 inch TSS this year. They have rolled tops like the long beards and they cycled fine
