Title: The next best thing to killin a bird
Post by: xarcher on April 28, 2018, 08:36:15 PM
Opening day in PA today.  Didn't kill this morning but was entertained for a few minutes.  It's just cool to get away with sitting still just 20 yards from 4 sets of eyes. If you turn up the volume you can hear it raining.  But you can't tell that it was raining AND 40 degrees.  But as a wise man once said "there's no such thing as bad weather just bad clothes".  Enjoy

On a more serious note, I did get to fooling with a bird that gobbled and strutted about 100 yards away for about 10 minutes then just turned and walked off gobbling.   I took off after him but he never turned back.  He eventually stopped but by that time it was noon we had to quit.
