Title: Jake down.
Post by: Thebody on April 28, 2018, 09:47:04 AM
Came in like a mature bird, but he didnt have the gear.  After getting skunked last year, I am thankful.

1/4 inch right 3/8 left.
14.6 lbs
5.5 and 4.5 inch beards. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180428/e1f76d475074ff8711df1364b87d4454.jpg)

Double bearded jake?! Congrats. The trophy is in the eye of the beholder.

I shot one in the past that had a full gobble and when he peeked over a knock down, I dropped the hammer and never looked back.

Congrats again.

I can relate. I just finished my 2nd crappy season in a row. No birds. Again. I'd have been happy to have taken that jake. Congrats!!
