Title: Wynne Persimmon Slate
Post by: SteelerFan on April 13, 2018, 05:05:10 PM: Another sound bite of Eddie's persimmon slate. The call has a nice full / deep sound to it - classic slate. Plays very easily with his 1 piece persimmon striker, mac ebony, hickory, etc.

Here's a Lyman hickory (yeah - I run that one a lot... lol)

Got mine this May. Premium built call for sure, excellent slate and striker. never really used it on a bird but I don't carry pots much any more but it's worth a slot in any hunters arsenal.
