I'd go with the 1.5, had a 2x7 on my gun and changed it to a 1x vortex. I like the larger field of view much better. I think more than 1.5 will handicap you.
I have a 2x pro diamond and a 4x pro diamond. I like them both. Don't think the fov with the 4x is a handicap at all.
i like the 4x power have used both always thought 2x made stuff look smaller
I've got the 4x32 on my 835, great scope IMO. Inexpensive and holds it's zero, very little sighting in time from season to season. Usually just a couple of field loads to check the zero and a turkey load or two to confirm.
I am not overly happy with the reflex sight I purchased for the 20 gauge,I am a scope guy and will be buying the 4x later tonight instead.
Have the Simmons 1-5 Pro Diamond it holds its zero every time. :firefighter:
