Started opening day off right this am by sending 2 1/2 oz of TSS9 down the pipe. I sent the pic to TREX18 and he tickled me with his response " Nothing says America like 2.5 oz of TSS thru a 10 Gauge"

Congratulations of a fine looking bird. Bet he didn't even know what hit with all that coming at him.
-
Congrats on a fine looking gobbler! And that 10 isn't too shabby, either, lol! Thank you for sharing, cool photo.

He was out before the whole shot string got to him. The last pellets were a ceremonial fly over.

Congrats :icon_thumright: My shoulder hurts just thinking about shooting it...

congrats on the bird

Congrats!
And Ouch..

It may sound rough, but the recoil is actually not bad because it weighs 9.5 pounds and I put a limbsaver recoil pad on it. I took the steel rod out of the stock to reduce the weight a little and improve pointability. However, touch off a Magnum Blend shell through it or my SP10 and all bets are off!!! That shell is unbearable to shoot.

Way to go!!!!! Some say a ten is overkill, not me.

What kind pattern, I have 2 both set up shoot nitros, one heavy 4,5,6 other #4 or 5 nickel. Kicks 695, other 720 rhino.

Scroll down the list of topics a little farther and you will see a thread I started titled " Best pattern to date
' and you will see a pic of the last time I patterned it with the TSS9
