Which one of your calls is your favorite? From the wood ,to surface , sound board . Thanks I am just curious and I think it’s interesting to see what some of the call makers think is their best or favorite call.

It's hard to say which is my favorite overall, but as far as wood goes I like different varieties of maple with any surface.  If you listen to real hens that are fired up in the woods and compare to the different surfaces I'd say copper, crystal, and aluminum are some of my favorites to get that quick high note with a bit of "ring" on the front end and realistic raspiness to end it.  I gotta have rasp.  All that said, if I had to pick just one of my calls to take to the woods, I don't think I could pick against a classic slate over glass in a medium density wood.
