Has anyone been hearing any gobbling?
I have heard one or two. Nothing serious though. They were just enjoying the warmer than normal temps. Looking like things are getting back to normal weather wise so it will be another week or two till they really get started. Course I am about as extreme western Md as you can get and in the mountains
No gobbles yet but are starting to see strutters almost everyday now. Im glad that 80 degree weather didn't last long and it cooled back down. Don't want them to get fired up to early.
Nothing heard yet around these parts.
I'm watching the weather myself. I thought that it warmed up too soon, too fast last year. Keep the reports coming, I don't get to see turkey until I go hunting so I enjoy hearing about what everyone else is seeing.
Have not been out early to listen for gobbles yet. Have been getting some good pictures.
If you don't mind sharing, please continue to post pics as you get them. Are you in Western MD?

Beautiful country out your way. We hunt Green Ridge during the fall turkey season. Love it out there.
Not much noise but saw a nice Tom strutting around half dozen hens at the end of the field this morning in Allegheny. Perfect coffee drinking entertainment.

I had 2 gobbling on the roost this morning. As soon as they hit the ground they never gobbled again. I'm in southern Maryland
Same here this morning. Heard 6 birds maybe gobbling a total of 15 times this morning. Laid eyes on 4 of them with probably 8 hens. One strutter.
Was working in cecil and harford county this week. Despite the overcast and drizzle i heard multiple birds every morning and evening at multiple locations.
I heard gobbling at two different locations in Chuck Co. This morning.
We saw a hen about 200 yds from my house in Howard cnty last week. I have lived in the same neighborhood for 5 years and have never seen a turkey. Hopefully the population is expanding.
Birds on the lower shore are henned up. Opening day had three on the roost gobbling hot until they hit the ground. Mid morning had gobbling at my calls as they answered my calls in a field. One gobble this morning on the limb. They are trailing hens. Still early I believe.
