What gun?  You will get great results in about any of them with a carlson, trulock, or tightwad for well under half the cost of the the others.  I handload but it is pretty much the same as their 20 ga 15/8 oz 9s and my little 500 gets 315 on average with a carlson 575, hard to beat for just 20 bucks.

Agreed...but if you're spending upwards of $10/shell, does it really matter???

Why would I pay $40-50 more for a choke that gives me no better results? Kind of seems silly and wasteful.

The OP simply asked if anyone had shot Apex loads through their Jebs chokes. He (or she) may have been considering purchase of one. Heck...for all I know, he may own the company. No matter, I don't think he's gotten an answer.

I've not shot the 20 gauge shells loaded by Apex, but have shot TSS loads w/ the same recipe out of a JEB's .555.  The choke is going back for a .565.  I got much better patterns w/ a Sumtoy 562-5 and a Carlson's .565.  The .555 choke constriction was too tight and resulted in blown patterns w/ numerous holes.

I'm shooting at a greased 20x20 plate. This is the last pattern I could find for you. I've seen a little better on paper but don't have the photos. Hope this helps(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180204/ce6f3fdce6331457fd688917b7e8c31b.jpg)
