Yeah I seen that. Heck that Daybreak slate call went for over $300 dollars.
Halloran, calls are good. I have a Crystal Mistres I purchased on e bay for 40. But 200.00 or three hundred for a call is simply ridiculous in my opinion. There simply is not that amount of magic in a call. I do not understand the hype.

I think you are right. Some mussical instruments cost into the thousands; but are they nessasary to play good music. Not generally. Is it nice to play them sure is.
As a turkey hunter I am rough on calls especially box calls. I have several that are water stained and one that I broke and reglued. I'll leave the 200. dollar plus calls for the collectors or anyone else that feels the need. I don't need them and still kill turkeys. Got to admit I also do not own the newest and greatest cell phone even though I can afford any phone I like working through my bussiness. Same with my trucks and Jeeps functionality is the name of the game. I like to hear you guys talking about them tho, and maybe I can catch one greatly discounted or after you've spent all your money. LOL
I have one. There are better pots out there for the money.
It would have to make the coffee and drive in the mornings... not to mention have access to some prime spots for that kind of money. Crazy.
There are few and I mean few that I would spend near 300 on...none of those are pots. To each his own and if you have the money to do it, by goodness do it! There are maybe 3 box calls on my list that if they popped up, I MIGHT pull the trigger but as far as pot calls go, not this guy. Maybe not even the boxes I'm thinking about, but I'd probably consider those a little.

I'm 29 been hunting easterns since I was 7 w my dad. Hes killed 159 cobblers legally on public land. It's not the best call or most expensive it knowing when to call, how aggressive, hes he's gobbling away call more, if not less calling don't answer him rite away as he will think ur on ir way to him, turkey hunting is 80percent skill and learning from mistakes, 20 percent calls and gear. Ive killed a heavily hunted gobbler w a push pin cheap call.
