So... I finally traded and got a Watkins Ipe over Black Limba and man o man have I been totally missing out!! Honestly one of if not the best sounding long box iv ever heard. Always wondering if I would spend $200+ on a box and now I understand why I would. Craftsmanship and Sound is TOP NOTCH. Do yourself a favor and get on his list.

I just received a bloodwood over beech that is awesome. The mora and butternut you can't go wrong. Then again a bloodwood and butternut has killed me a few..... the list keeps growin'....I tell ya' any combo of his is easy playin' and all turkey!
I have said many times that I believe marlin is in my top 5 box call maker. I have 7 of his calls . Each sounds different and it's hard to pick one over the other for my vest. Good pickup.

Pretty much anything that Marlin makes will be phenomenal. I have a mora over white limba longy and a mora over persimmon shorty. They both sound exceptional although they each have their own sound. I bought a IPE over black limba longy for a buddy of mine and that sounded so good, I really was debating giving it to him... I think Marlin could make a dream call out of a railroad tie and drift wood!
