I know it's early but now's the time to plan. Which states are you guys planning to turkey hunt next season? For me, it's SC, FL, OK, & NE. My bucket list wish of a single season slam will be attempted...
-
Will be in my home state of SC and making NC a priority this year. Would love to visit my buddy ninja in MS and have a connection or two in Tenn. Always looking for an opportunity to go out west for fun hunting. The only two I can say for certain is SC and NC.
Good luck in your travels.

Trying to convince the Mrs. I need to take my son and do a NE, SD, WY road trip. We'll see....................

Just booked a hunt for South Carolina. Their season starts long before mine in Maryland. Then I'll try my luck in PA for the first time.
-
FL, SC, OK, TX, VA, WV, OH, PA, VT, NH, ME, MA.
Ill throw a previously unvisited Merriams state somewhere in there, as well, for another single season grand slam. Overall, I'll be revisiting a couple of my favorite places and traveling to plenty of new territory, as well.

FL and OH as usual. Hope to do a out west but still not sure if and when. KY could be in the mix if "out west" doesn't work out. Got a cousin in PA also but he is usually down here in FL all through the PA season. Happy to have so many choices.

Florida, this hunt will also finish up my slam, hopefully. Then Va. and perhaps NC and SC although they are still up in the air. But gotta save some money for deer season. Also these turkeys are soo nice that my taxidermy fees are outrageous.

Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio
-
Probably due to get first choice draw in FL for 2018. May try LA this spring as well. Have not done much planning yet.

Limited time and funds so Ma and Ct. Ct is a hidden jewel for turkey and deer. Even though Ct is rabid anti-gun this means less hunters. Bring enough ammo, you need an ammo permit in Ct to buy ammo.

Hunted NE a few years back.................... Ended up being there during the two days between TWO "blizzards of the century". Even at that, I worked birds and passed on a smallish longbeard.
The Pine Ridges of NE are some of the most beautiful country I've ever seen !!!! I, too hope I can make it work

We learn by experience: buy a Ford. My 97 F150 has 338,400, miles and still has compression and the original muffler. :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an
